Answers:
Keep them inside.
Train them.
take them to the pound
Put them in the front yard.
how are they ruining your backyard? pooping and peeing everywhere or digging and chewing?

If they are digging or chewing it's because they are bored and have lots of energy and they have nothing to do. So they create something to do themselves which is always not what the owner wants. You should exercises your dog at a minimum of at least 45 minutes a day. take them for a walk, play fetch, something. You can even train them something like roll over, etc. so they are also mentally drained. "A tired dog is a good dog."
well for starters put just a little bit of Vinegar in their water and when they pee they will not kill everything. You don't need much just about a teaspoon or so. As far as digging and such you will just have to train them somehow.
Section off the backyard for the dogs can go. so they don't ruin the yard. You can put a dog house with a fence so they can't go on the nice part of the yard.
first find out why they dig.
boredom? to stay cool?
certain breeds dig more than others. like hounds and terriers.
provide a place for them to dig. a sand box area.
spray areas to keep them away from with "stay off my garden"
you can purchase at any green house, or hardware store, or
tsc. spray often to keep the smell on unwanted digging areas.
Gee, I hate to tell you, but dogs are hard on the landscaping no matter what kind they are. They play, they dig, they chew, and its all play to them. Whatever is in the yard is "toy" to a dog. You can try repellents but they have to be reapplied a lot and frankly, I have not had too much success with them. If you love your landscaping more than your dogs, then say bye bye to your animals. otherwise, accept that dogs will be dogs or re-landcape your yard with more hard-scape and less destroyable materials. If you got the money, talk to a landscaper about pet friendly landscaping or dedicate a part of the yard to the animals, fence it off,and leave it to them.
put them in the front yard
HIYO!
Cesers Mom 2 hit the nail on the head. I have a husky mix, a lab, and one of their kids. All 3 have a digging problem, thanks to the husky mix, so I fenced off an area for them in one part of the yard is theirs to dig in, and I keep moist for them to lay in. They don't bother the rest of the yard.
train em
Friendly Hello, I would fence in a section of your back yard and have that area just for your dogs. Because if you want something to stay beautiful Then your going to have to make some changes as they will ruine the new back yard as well. Blessings, Kelly
It all depends on how they are ruining your yard. If you leave them outside, yes, they will be bored and dig and become destructive. Outdoor life is not a way for any dog to live. Dogs should be inside with the family. Dogs can be trained to live inside.

If the problems arise because their urine and feces are damaging the grass, train your dogs to only go in a certain area and scoop the poop daily and rinse urine away.
