How to clip my dog's tail/back end without stressing him?

Have an english springer spaniel who until he was neutered allowed me to touch his behind- feathers/tail etc near his rear - now he is very nervous and wary of me touching him or brushing etc

I also find wrapping them up in towels covering their heads and holding them securely gives them comfort and they then allow you to do that kind of thing.
.Do it gradually over a few days to ease him into it again and if that fails call your local vet to get a number of a good groomer
he must still be tender around the area of the operation either that or he does not trust you, he thinks you willm do it again to him just be patient and keep gently brushing him for now
You might get a friend or family member to help you by distracting your dog with treats while you work on clipping around the tail. Hopefully, your dog will come to realize that this means a reward if he allows it.
LOL! He,s probably afraid your going to remove something else down there.
Find a groomer to do it~
are you talking about a bird or a dog feathers?
but if it is a dog tail docking is illegal
