I'm confused about the question, but here goes. When you want your dog to sleep you put him or her in its bed, you turn out the light and you ignore it. its best when you have a very young puppy to crate them at night that way they can't get into anything and hurt themselves. but either way, if you get up and let the puppy out and play with it and such, it will learn that it can sleep when it wants and play when it wants. you'll end up having to get up to play at 3 am every morning because dogs learn a schedule, eventually it'll get it and say o its midnight time to crash! but until that time ignore the crying, barking or whining, it'll learn.
