how to get a dog to poop?

My dog and I have been traveling quite alot lately and she seems to take an hour to poop and it is a small amount for a 60 pound dog. I can tell she is working hard for it to happen but there is no results to speak of. She is eating well and drinking well.
Answers:
Add some canned pumpkin or Metamucil into her food. This adds indigestible fiber which will pass nicely without causing diarrhea. Exercise does help as well as other people have stated ;)
she is lacking exercise which is very important to making a bowel movement, exercise her more!
I dont know but SPANK HER SIKE,make her excirse ALOT ALOT ALOT, then POOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
if she doesn't mind a bath try sitting her bottom in comfortably warm water. seems to get things back into flow.
bad pun.
It may seem a bit harsh but try giving her a little less food and a little more water. There has to be a sufficient amount of water in the intestines to produce a bowel movement. Try this for about a week. If that fails, give her a tablespoon of vegetable or olive oil and don't get in the car for the day because when she has to go there will be no stopping her! After that works (and I know it will) keep her on the less food, more water while you're traveling. She'll be happier and you won't have to worry.
I think she has some digestion problem..or maybe..ermm.

ARGH!! WHy don't I know things?
try giving your dog crushed pineapple iit works on my labs (and it will stop them from eating it to!!)
Match her. Take 2-3 cardboard matches from a book and GENTLY insert them into her rectum. That's how everybody at the shows does it. It sounds cruel but works every time. And it helps them go because they are frightened in the new situation.
Try olive oil in her food or any kind of oil. Or if you want try worming her this will def get things flowing again but be better to leave her outside for the day coz it could get quite messy.?
believe it or not my dog poops and pees on command!
but for the most part . any dog should poop if you exercise him/her by walking.
give her a tad bit of allbran.
we used to give that to our dog when it got constipated
