I accidently killed my neighbor's dog this morning..what should I do?

I was comin home for lunch durin some free time at school. When I drove up the driveway I didnt see the dog running towards the car. Now its dead..What should I do?
Answers:
tell them and do what ever you can to make it up to them..
report it to the police..and they will contact animal control
Hide it in the bushes and continue living!
you should tell him that you are really sorry.explain the situation..and offer to pay for a replacement
Apologize, and offer to buy a new dog.
Let your neighbor know
Pay them something, or ask them if they want another dog, get them one. That's really the only thing you can do.
r u like, asking this question on ur phone, did u JUST kill this dog? tell the truth, or if this is some kind of joke, go to the police and tell the u r a crazy looney who thinks killing dogs is funny and they'll lock u up
tell them the truth.Past always comes forward.
Ummmmmmmm wow. Well for starters tell him! I hope you didn't just leave the dog there for them to find!
Be honest. It was an accident.
woah dude. tell them. then offer some money b4 they sue u. unless they werent really attached to the poor dog. but tell them anyways.
omg poor you!! you should tell them really but its a bit difficult if you have left it this long! has your car got a dent in it?? what did you do with the dog?? did u just leave it there poor thing!
Hide the body and don't tell anyone you did it. If anyone asks say you didn't even know it happened.
If no one saw you for sure then dont say anything, i dont know what i would do its kinda been to long now to tell them that you did it. but its only right to tell the truth. anyways it sounds like its the dogs fault
Tell them! I had a friend and her dog got ran over and she found him laying on the side of the road..dead! She was mad! Mostly because someone ran over her dog but she was also really mad that they just drove off without telling her and that they didnt at least show that they cared by apologizing even though that couldnt have fixed it but it would make her feel a little better.
be honest, even if you think you could get away with lying just tell them because it might eat away at you forever!! and im no saint myself, i know these things!!

lol seriously though tell them offer to get a new one (but be sensitive saying it especially if theres kids) and make sure they know how sorry you are (even if you dont care its better you pretend you do because they might think you did it out of spite!) get them a card saying sorry and really just do your best

if they never talk to you again at least you tried man!

and um if you do it again they could like report you or something so..be careful!!

good luck, your gonna need it.
if you don't know your neighbors, not a good way to start, but be the man and git hold of your back pocket and march over to do the correct thing and offer amends.
First of all buying them a new dog will not help them with their problem of losing the old dog. Contact the animal control to remove the dog and let them tell the neighbors you might want to be there. The dog should have been in the house or in a fenced yard. Apologize to them in a letter. You do not owe them a new dog. I would consider that disrespectful if you ran over my dog and tried to replace it. Just be a friend and give them time to morn the dog.
go straight to the neighbor and explained what happen and tell them it was a accident. if you can drive then you are old enough to know right from wrong and you know what you should of done right away instead of getting on your computer and asking this question. if it was your dog would you want the person who killed it to come to you or go asked someone on the computer first??
It's not your fault! Legally, it's their fault for letting it run loose. If your car was damaged in the process, you could sue them.
Morally, you should probably tell them and apologize.
Pray to God that your neighbors won't kill you, and tell them.
U should Go 2 the Owners And Say " Ur Dog And My Car Had A Accident"
You should tell them. But don't offer them any money that is just wrong, and it wouldn't change the fact that their dog is dead. Tell them how sorry you are and ask them if there is anything you can do for them.

In my opinion the dog shouldn't have been ANYWHERE but in their yard. Maybe it got out accidentally, and that I can understand.
Tell your parents and get their help if you need it. Tell your neighbor at the first opportunity. If the dog's body is lying in the street, pick it up and put it in a box or something so they won't be shocked to see their dog's body in the street. You can offer to give them the body or dispose of it for them, depending on what they want to do. Also, since you have destroyed their property, it's appropriate to offer to pay them for the dog or get them a new dog. Let them decide.
oh my gosh dude! you should really tell them because you you know that every loves honesty, hope you dont get into TOO much trouble
Well if you didnt already tell them tell them. And uhh theres really nothing you can do to make up for it because they probably wont even want you to do anything. But if they are thinking of buying a new dog you should be the one to pay for it. And if they are going to have him burried you should pay for what they need. So technically all you have to do is pay i guess. But it would help if you asked if you can do anything to pay up.
Do the right thing and tell your neighbors. they will want to know so that they may grieve and find closure;as well,as forgiveness
Eat it.
