As far as finding a place to stay, you better start looking. Check out craig's list and your local classifieds. Remember that the place needs to be dog friendly or you'll have to give your dog back to the breeder or to breed rescue (if she's a purebred). If those aren't options for you, then you'll need to find a no-kill shelter that will take her and adopt her out.

Maybe your dog scratched the landlord because he was the one who was breaking into your home. Sometimes churches know of people who have houses for rent. Explain your situation and see if they can help. Put an ad in the paper immediately and state: need home immediately. Have dog for protection. Need pet friendly landlord. Good luck.
