I have a miniature dashound who is lactating but she doesn't look like there are any puppies in there, we know it is not a false pregnancy! We have 2 mini's 1 female and 1 male whom we were hoping to breed!! Are her puppies ok??Are they in there??

You can try palpating her stomach, you should feel the babies in there. If she is lactating, then she nust be pregnant. Is this your first time breeding? If so, make sure you have a vet on call for her delivery. With Dacshunds, the babies can die in the birth canal because the canal on "hot dogs" are longer than other breeds. They can get stuck and be still born or can inevitibly kill the mother. Good Luck and maybe you should get her to the vet to be sure she isnt in any danger, especially if its her first litter. They also do not have large litters, so it may not be so obvious.
I guess people on here do not go to vets or do any research on their own.
GO TO THE VET. They have a blood test for pregnancy, ultrasound, and x-ray to determine pregnancy.
No one on here can tell you that.

don`t just take it 2 PETSMART .. take it 2 someone who u KNOW is going 2 take care of ur BABY GIRL !
