I am looking for small chihuahua to buy. Anyone out there, around cheshire area, got one to sell?? thanks?

Answers:
The ePupz site has many adverts for both adult %26 puppy chihuahuas - along with a rescue section %26 a breeder list. It's searchable by breed %26 by area - they may have one near you.
http://www.epupz.co.uk/

There's also the Champdogs site . I think that it is mainly the breeders of show dogs who advertise on here.
Here's the link to the information on breeders %26 clubs relating to the smoothcoat chihuahua:
http://www.champdogs.co.uk/guided/all_sm.
and to the long coat chihuahua:
http://www.champdogs.co.uk/guided/all_lo.
The list of breeders also shows which area they are in %26 clicking on one will give you contact details - if you want to approach one yourself %26 make enquiries.

The Kennel Club provides information on its site about what to consider when buying a dog or puppy.
http://www.thekennelclub.org.uk/buying/i.

It has an accredited breeder scheme %26 a puppy register . the link to search is towards the bottom of the page:
http://www.thekennelclub.org.uk/cgi-bin/.

The site also has information about rescue dogs:

Finally, you could also try looking in Adtrader.co.uk or Preloved.co.uk

Hope this helps.
I'll pop one in the post.
Go to the pound! There are usually chihuahuas there because people didn't realize how spastic they are, and they will be killed if they don't find a home.
All chihuahuas are small.
I hope you don't mean a "teacup". They don't exist. They are just the runt of the litter.
Check your local shelter or a rescue group.
The internet is a very bad place to buy dogs or solicit for them. Many dogs are sold by people who do not have the best interests of the dog at heart but are only interested in money. A breeder with a nice dog who cares about their animals will not sell to just anyone who comes with money. A good breeder will want to know more about you and your lifestyle before placing a dog with you. If you want to make sure you get a healthy, happy puppy from a reputable breeder, you should consult the breeder referral person in your area. The Chihuahua club of america is a good place to start your search http://www.chihuahuaclubofamerica.com/.

if you'd like more information on why you should not buy dogs that don't come from a reputable breeder, please visit http://www.prisonersofgreed.org/.
Go to www.breeders.net

It will ask for the type of dog you want and your zip code. It will tell you all the breeders who are within 25 or so miles to your zip. There is also a link to it on the AKC website. I found both my Yorkies on the site. Very good and reputable breeders are only available.
look in the local admags. Have a look on the kennel club website to see what breeders have litters near you. In the UK you will not find chihuahuas in rescue shelters. It seems like a lot of Americans are answering the UK answers and giving wrong answers based on what happens in their own country.Over there, they may well be lots of them in shelters, but here in the uk (part of Europe and NOT an American state thank god) they are expensive and hard to find.
I hope your not gonna dress it up and make the poor thing look a twat!
Depending on how far you're willing to travel, there's a couple of chihuahua rescues in the UK. Nearest to you is in Chesterfield:

British Chihuahua Club Rescue
Mrs P Bungard, Hove, Sussex. Tel: 01273 413501

Chihuahua Rescue Service
Edith Esland, Chesterfield, Derbys. Tel: 01246 866334

Edited to add - it's probably best to phone these rescues ahead of making the long journey - they might only rehome within a certain radius.

Alternatively, why not try an all-breed rescue? You might find another dog that's right for you in there, whether it's a chihuahua or not. Here's some all-breed rescues near you:

If you are going to get a puppy, speak to the kennel club for advice on selecting a breeder. Irresponsible breeders are often, unfortunately much easier to find than the responsible ones, and you could be risking all sorts of health %26/or behavioural problems if you use a backyard breeder. Plus you could be (albeit inadvertently) supporting cruel breeding practices.
