There are many things dogs can get and yes they CAN get a lot of things that people do. I had a dog who had diabetes type 1, and she needed insulin twice a day, but she passed away 4 months ago in her sleep. I gave her insulin for four years because I cared for her. I raised her from a third generation litter, and she was the only one with that problem. Be a responsible owner, contact your vet. If you or one of your family had a problem, would you not go to your doctor, or a P.A. Physician's Assistant?
